A Broken AC Unit Doesn’t Have to Ruin Your Day

If your home has a disabled AC, you’ll want to check a few basic things to see if it’s something you can fix before calling in an HVAC pro. Look at the power supply (circuit breaker and/or on-off switch) to make sure your system’s getting electricity, then look at the thermostat to ensure it’s set to “cooling.” If those steps don’t produce results, determine if either the inside or outside unit of your split-system AC is still running. You’ll want to give that information to your Jansen Heating & Air Conditioning technician when you call to seek service.
